Baked French Fries II

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2008
These were so so good! I cut my peeled potatoes into strips and tossed in a bowl with olive oil, some dried onion and a package of Italian Dressing seasoning. I put down parchment paper on a jelly roll pan before putting fries on. Excellent! Will make again!

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2008
Excellent! I cut the recipe in half to make a smaller pie. I drizzled chocolate syrup on the bottom of the crust before pouring the filling. Sprinkled the top with crushed Peanut Butter Cups. Put in freezer for about an hour... VERY VERY good! Thank you!

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2008
Amazing!! Everyone LOVED this... kids included! I used a shoulder roast and sprinkled Onion Onion & Garlic Garlic (Tastefully Simple seasoning) on before pouring Root Beer over. Cooked on low for 6 hours, drained and pulled pork apart. Then added some Liquid Smoke and half a bottle of Sweet Baby Rays' BBQ sauce and a little water.. (we don't like an overwhelming BBQ taste)... IT was PERFECT! The liquid smoke and BBQ sauce made it amazing! THIS is what I have been looking for. Thank you!

Cinnamon Rolls III

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2008
Absolutely wonderful!! I did not use a bread machine but followed the recomdations of viewers and used my Ktichenaid mixer. I fit 15 in my 9x13 and baked the extra one in a small dish (15 just fit better in the pan) I baked for 20 minutes. I also omitted the milk from the icing recipe. These are perhaps the best cinnamons rolls I've had. Everyone LOVED them! This is a keeper! Thank you.

Army SOS Creamed Ground Beef

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2008
Excellent! I added Onion Onion and Garlic Garlic.. from Tastefully Simple.. to the ground turkey while it was cooking. Also cut back on the worchestshire sauce.. only about 1.5 -2 tbsp. I cooked about 8-10 oz of spiral noodles and layered them on the bottom of a 9x9 pan. Poured creamed mixture over noodles, sprinkled with about 1/2 cup shredded white cheddar cheese and bread crumbs with butter..(2 finely chopped ends of a loaf of bread and 1 tbsp. melted butter)..cooked in oven 350 for 25 minutes... Everyone LOVED it! Kids included! =) This is going to be made again and again!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2008
The taste on these was awesome! However, they were pretty crumbly getting them out of the pan. And the crumble topping stuck to my muffin tins so that made it extra hard to get out.. and I only filled muffin cups about 3/4 full. Next time I will fill less and add less topping.

Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2008
Excellent!! Everyone loved it.. kids included. I used sliced deli meat and just tore it up. I also used cubed white cheddar and american cheese and reduced the milk to 1/2 cup. The breaded chicken really makes this outstanding! A keeper!!

One Bowl Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2008
These were ok. I added a tsp of salt and perhaps that was too much. I think these would be much better made in a 9x9 pan... they were pretty thin and got crist as they cooled. Perhaps with a little tweaking, these would be great.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2008
Excellent!!! My husband told me the gravy was awesome and the meat was incredible... enough said. =) I did brown the meat before cooking and used cream of celery soup. While it was cooking, I whisked in a little flour to help thinken and kept an eye on it to make sure it was thickening up a bit. Never make roast any other way!!! Thank you!!

Mexican Whole Wheat Flour Tortillas

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2008
Excellent! Tasted like the tortillas my mom used to make. I did not have whole wheat flour on hand, so I used all white and used Olive Oil.. great! They were a hit and pretty easy to make. I rolled them out after an hour of sitting. This is a keeper!

Homemade Ice Cream Cones

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2008
I could not get these to crisp up. After cooking them, I put them in 1 cup custard cups and let them sit. When I took them out, they did not retain their shape very well..kind of flimsy. However... they tasted very good. Eveyone LOVED them and didn't seem to mind the "non" crispy shell. Maybe I will try again and bake them to get them to crisp up.

This has been my staple bread recipe for the last year. Love it, Love it! Good trust worthy bread recipe. I love that it uses honey instead of regular sugar..even more healthy. I also used Whole Wheat White Flour for the Whole Wheat and it came out perfect!

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2006
Great recipe! It got rave reviews from family members who have never had stuffing made outside the bird!! And it was so easy to make. I threw the bread, (I used French Bread) sauted onions, celery, parsley, and seasonings together the night before in a large bowl (did not use mushrooms). Then the next morning I put everything in the crock pot. I added about 2 cups broth and that was plenty. I omitted the eggs....After about 2 hours cooking on low, it was done. It was wet, but not mushy so I just kept the lid off for a while. Using French bread definately helped it keep shape better. Everyone was asking for the recipe! This is a keeper.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2006
WOW! These were SO good! I didn't want to take the time to roll them out, I droped them on a baking stone using a cookie scoop. I flattened a bit before cooking. I realized half way through I had the oven at 350 instead of 400 but the cookies turned out great. Baking time was about 9-10 minutes. Topped with Decorators Icing on this site and these were a HUGE hit. Will definately make again for Christmas!!!
