Great recipe! It got rave reviews from family members who have never had stuffing made outside the bird!! And it was so easy to make. I threw the bread, (I used French Bread) sauted onions, celery, parsley, and seasonings together the night before in a large bowl (did not use mushrooms). Then the next morning I put everything in the crock pot. I added about 2 cups broth and that was plenty. I omitted the eggs....After about 2 hours cooking on low, it was done. It was wet, but not mushy so I just kept the lid off for a while. Using French bread definately helped it keep shape better. Everyone was asking for the recipe! This is a keeper.
