Sweet Cornbread Cake

I had to return and rate this recipe! It exceeded my expectations. I did make a few healthy substitutions and my family LOVED it! Instead of all-purpose flour, I used whole wheat flour. Then, I used Splenda, skim milk and egg substitute and baked it all in an iron skillet. Yummmmeee! I was a little worried about the consistency of the batter, as it was very thick, but it baked up quite nicely. Thank you for a wonderful recipe.

Honey Baked Chicken II

This recipe is easy to make and an excellent dinner choice! I followed the instructions to a T, when I made it for the first time this week. And my family LOVED it. My three yr old daughter requested a second piece. So, I will definitely make it again, maybe for a dinner party next time. Nice place to show off some talent. I am recommending it to others.

Savory Shrimp over Wild Rice

I prepared this with white rice and minus the tomatoes. I also added a little butter, for flavoring. We LOVED it! We had NO leftovers! I will DEFINITELY prepare this one again.

Smothered Pork Chops

No complaints here! My family LOVED this. I couldn't wait to finish it the next day. I did add some parsley so I could enjoy the onion and garlic without the lingering effects on my breath later.

Oven Barbecued Beef Brisket II

The only ingredient I had from this recipe was the cola. I replaced the chile sauce with salsa, and the onion soup with a Perfect Potatoes seasonings packet. Plus, the brisket sat in marinade for 1 1/2 days prior to cooking. It was GREAT! I cooked two briskets (in a crock pot) with the intention of freezing one for later. I didn't waste my time. We finished it in three days. Finger-lickin' good---literally. :-)
