Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2009
we used half of all ingredients and had 2 great breakfast drinks. A great change from our usual berry concoction. I will definitely make this again.

A great sangria! We followed the recipe, but omitted the sugar and used ginger ale instead of club soda and it was a hit!

Banana Nut and Ginger Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2012
A great recipe I will make again! I used coffee instead of dark beer, a heaping teaspoon of cardamom, and I added 2tbsp of butter instead of oil. I left out the dates and walnuts and made cupcakes and baked for 15min. instead.

White Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2010
This is a great cookie recipe and I plan on using it many times. The only change I made was I did not grease the cookie sheets and used a silpat instead. They were yummy, with a great salty/sweet combo.

Mango Blueberry Muffins With Coconut Streusel

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2010
Yummy and will make again! I used pineapple instead of mango and made twice the amount of streusel and piled it on top of the muffins. Made 18 regular sized muffins for me. I will save this to make again. Moist and sweet!

A great veggie meatloaf. I might try adding portabello mushrooms next time. We also used the last of our beef stock to cook the lentils which was yummy.

Cafeteria Carrot Souffle

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2009
I halved the recipe and it was great. I might cut the sugar (it was very sweet) and add cinnamon & nutmeg next time. I will also try grating to make mashing easier.

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2009
these are great muffins, I will make them again. After reading the reviews, I used whole wheat flour and instead of 2/3c of oil I used 1/3 c. oil and 1/3 c. milk. It made 16 muffins. The chocolate masks the whole wheat flour and no one will ever know! Yummy!

Mom's Oatmeal Blueberry Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2012
After reading other reviews I only added 1c of buttermilk and the rest of the ingredients I left the same. I also added 1/4 tsp of cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla. I dropped the blueberries into the pancakes while they were cooking. They are very hearty and only needed a bit of maple syrup to be perfect. This made 8 softball sized pancakes.

Louisiana Crawfish Etouffee

only used one stick of butter, 3 cloves of garlic, + one chopped bell pepper after the onions cooked for a few minutes. It was a perfect first attempt and a great recipe. I am currently living in LA and this is right on the money.

Butternut and Apple Harvest Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2010
Every time we make this soup I remember how wonderful it is. We cook our squash a little in the microwave to speed up the cooking time, use a sweet potato and apple cider as recommended by others. We have yet to make it with the cream because it is yummy without it.
