Cream Cheese Squares

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2012
My husband gave this 4 stars, but I think it's 5 stars! I modified the recipe a little. I reduced the margarine to half the amount. Also, I added homemade strawberry jam (that I made) to the top of the cream cheese mixture. The whole pan went within a couple of hours.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2011
This was very good. My pork chop were thin, so I cut the cooking time in half (25 mins, then 20 additional mins with sauce). Also, next time I will at least double possibility triple the sauce.

Shepherd's Pie Daddy's Way

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2011
My family loves this recipe! I have tried with the Golden Cream of Mushroom Soup and the regular Cream of Mushroom Soup and the regular is just so much better in my opinion. I spread a layer of can corn over the meat, add cheese, potatoes and top with more cheese. I use any American or Sharp Cheese I have in the house. Always delicious!

Easy Chicken Tetrazzini

Reviewed: May 1, 2011
My family loved this recipe, however I altered it...I used cream of chicken soup, milk instead of water, added a couple tablespoons of sour cream, garlic, 2 types of cheese, and Italian bread crumbs on the top. I baked 20 minutes and broiled on high for 2 minutes.

Easy Shake and Bake Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2010
Can I give it 6 STARS? It was great and so much cheaper than store bought! Crispy and juicy. My family loved it. The changes I made was adding 1/2 tsp garlic powder and 1/2 tsp season all salt. I also decreased the butter to 1/4 cup. PERFECT!!!

Unbelievable Fish Batter

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2010
This was better than store bought, but I did make a lot of changes. I mixed 3/4 flour and 1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs, and added 1/2 tsp garlic powder, and 1/4 tsp black pepper. I keep the salt, milk, and water the same, but decreased the baking powder to 3 tsp.

Perfect Apple Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2010
When I first started putting the pie together I was not sure I would like this recipe, because the pie crust was a little difficult to work with. However, after following the recipe to the T, and it did come out PERFECT. This recipe has the correct name of "Perfect Apple Pie." I made this for dinner guest and each one commented on how wonderful it tasted. The crust was flaky and perfect, and the filling had the perfect amount of sweetness. I served with Vanilla ice cream. Also, I used Granny Smith apples, and it was delicious!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2010
This was the bomb! I made a half batch (got 8 instead of 6), it's just too much for me and my bf. I will make a full batch (16 instead of 12) when I have company over. The only change was the icing...I mixed 1 cup confectioners' sugar, 3 tbs milk, and 1/2 tsp vanilla and poured it on top when I pulled the rolls hot out of the oven. My bf loved them so much he ate 6 out of the 8 at one sitting....You've got to make this!

Mini Cheesecakes

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2010
These are yummy. I had to crush 2 vanilla wafer (and I did not even add butter, because they still made a wonderful crust. I will try graham crackers next just because I think that might taste good too. The only changes was I used one cup sugar instead of 2/3 cup, because we like ours a little sweeter, and baked 19 minutes in full size muffin cups.

Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2010
This recipe was really good. I kept the basic recipe, but added 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 2 tsp of Worcestershire, and I used one can of tomato soup, but added one cup of spaghetti sauce. I cooked it on high in my crock pot for 4 hours on high. My darling boyfriend loved this recipe, and ate 6 pieces in one setting.

Unbelievable Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2009
I used this recipe in my bread machine on the dough cycle and it came out AWESOME! I warmed the milk, water, sugar, and salt on the stove. Added it to the bread pan, then added my eggs, flour, and dry yeast in the center on top of the flour, and hit start. After it was done in the machine I shaped into balls on my pan and let it rise for about 20 minutes and it was perfect. I topped with a little honey butter before placing in the oven. My oven cooks a little on the hot side, so I baked at 375 for 10 minutes. Will make again, and again!

Sweet As Kisses Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2009
Yummy and soooo easy! I changed the recipe slightly by accident, and it still came out awesome. I mixed all the whip topping in instead of reserving some for the top of the pie, and used the left over cherries on top of the pie. I froze and defrosted the next day. PERFECT!
