Cottage Meatloaf

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2005
This is absolutely the best! Served to over 100 people at church in 12 different loaves and was asked for the recipe over and over. There were so many people that told me they didn't even like meatloaf but were only being polite, until they ate mine! This is great!

Champagne Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2005
Great dessert dish. I did lower the amount of sugar and used fresh strawberries as I don't think one should freeze them, thaw and refreeze them again. I put them in individual brioche cups (like cupcakes) and then when it was time to serve popped them on the plate about 20 minutes before time to eat them. These were a very big hit! thanks for sharing!

Applesauce Salad

Wonderful recipe--made it for the family over the holidays twice! The second time the local stores were out of red hots so I had to use hard candy cinnamon discs-- they worked just as well! It surprised me but I was glad! Great recipe, thanks!

Best Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2005
I liked this but I made it for 25 people and it was alittle dry with the amounts that allrecipes kicked the quantities up to. I believe I would add a milk of some sorts to give more moisture to it.

Beef Tips

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2005
Wow! I made this for 90 people tonight and was it ever a hit! The gravy was out of this world. I did however, do something a bit different simply because I had such a large amount to make. I used the grill with very little oil on it for the browning of beef and onions. This really cut down on the oil. 'Tones' sells a brown gravy mix in the spice section that I used for the dry mix and it thickened very nicely. You have 90 positive 5 stars here!

Sausage Brunch Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2005
This is wonderful! All that ate it up (quickly) raved about it and asked for the recipe. Actually asked me to bring it in another day, as well! I put the crescents in the pan first for only 5 minutes to start the baking on them and they were beautiful in my Demarle pan as they were just popped out of the pan and stood up on it's own like a cake! Very nice presentation....wonderful eattin'....thanks so much for sharing.

this was hugely successful at our rehearsal dinner! We added a bit more sauce and Italian spices to keep it moist as we made it a lot larger amount! Will use this recipe again.
