Crustless Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2012
I'm on a diet, I used eggbeaters for 4 eggs, 1 1/4 c Red Fat Swiss cheese, 3/4 c Parm Cheese, 1/2 c mushrooms, 1 scallion (not gr onion), the salt, pepper and dash of nutmeg. My husband even loved it :) A total keeper. Next time I will try adding canadian or turkey bacon

Glazed Apple Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2011
Very good, nice and moist, but a little too sweet. I added less glaze too. Reminded me of Michigan in the fall :)

Coconut Crust

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2011
I toasted the coconut first and reduced baking time to 9 minutes. I was thinking about adding nuts too for a dark chocolate pudding pie.

Fluff Dip for Fruit

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2011
Made a half recipe and love, Loved, LOVED it. I use it as a topping, instead of a dip. I cut up peaches, strawberries, mixed with raspberries and blueberries and served in a bowl with a generous serving of dip and a couple of little ameretti cookies...everyone raved about it!

Double Chocolate Pie

Reviewed: May 5, 2011
Delicious! I make chocolate pies for my youngest son (18) regularly and this is my new recipe. Made a graham cracker crust for the pie (recipe from this site). I used 60% chocolate chips. The pie was perfect.

Best Spinach Dip Ever

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2011
After reading past reviews...used Knorr's Leek Soup Mix, entire 10 oz pkg of spinach, 3/4 c. light mayo, 1½ c. sour cream and the entire 8oz can of water chestnuts - because I did not want to take a chance at throwing half the can away later ;) This will be the only spinach dip I will make from now on!

Remarkable Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2010
The flavor of the fudge is delicious. However, I now know we I should always check out the reviews before starting a recipe. The double boiler method was not working out as another stated...thermometer would not budge past 200º so switched to just the pot, brought up to temp stirring constantly with a wooden spoon. Omitted nuts, used whole can of evaporated milk.

Chewy Brownie Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2010
I think these are a chocoholics dream cookie. I used Hershey's Special Dark Cocoa, Ghirardelli Chocolate Chips and omitted the nuts. I cooked four batches 7 & 9 minutes. I preferred them at 9 min...family liked both :)

Jaeger Schnitzel

Made a great Father's Day dinner, super quick and easy. Used olive oil, salt & peppered the meat before frying. Used 1 pork + 2 mushroom gravy mix and sauteed sliced mushrooms before adding to gravy. Used a wonderful hearty Gigli Toscani noodle.

Macaroni Salad for a Crowd

Reviewed: May 1, 2010
I have made this several times now. Love the basically traditional mac salad made with dill relish. I make half batches then leave a little on the side without the black olives for the husband.

This was fabulous...to make it more "picky kid friendly" I will use less cayenne...otherwise it is perfect as written

Raspberry Lemonade Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2009
This was good, but a little too sweet for my liking. I read reviews and reduced lemonade to 1/3 of a can, if I followed the recipe it would probably have gotten a poorer review.

I have been making this recipe for years...it's simple to make and has an awesome flavor. I thinly slice Pink Lady apples and dip in Sprite or 7-up to keep them fresh looking.
