Toasted Almond Green Bean Salad
Very yummy recipe! I tweaked it a bit. I also decreased the amount of oil, I tossed the beans until they were coated well (my guess is I used about 1/4 cup). I steamed the green beans just until they were bright green, were slightly cooked but still had a "snap." Then I added 1 tablespoon of regular balsamic and 1 tablespoon of white balsamic, then seasoned salt (Tastefully Simple Brand) and fresh ground pepper. I also threw in some gorgonzola that I had on hand. I made this for a large group and several are demanding the recipe. Thanks!

Spicy Beef Curry Stew for the Slow Cooker
This was really yummy!!! I read some of the other reviews and doubled the curry powder. My hubby's tummy can't take fresh jalapenos, so I got canned tomatoes with green chiles and that added just the right amount of heat. The only thing I will do differently next time is cut the beef cubes in half. To make this more hearty, I added about 3/4 cup of lentils and I served it over cous-cous. If your desire is to make it a bit spicer, put a dollop of yogurt on top. Thanks, for submitting this, we enjoyed it!!

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
These were really yummy! Next time I will decrease the sugar by just a tad, but otherwise they were delicious! Loved the spice, definitely a keeper!
