Chicken and Apple Curry

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2006
I love this recipe! I do modify it a little, but even the base recipe is great. As some other reviewers noted the recipe works even better when you use coconut milk in place of the regular milk. If you're not concerned about calories, using the whole can of coconut milk to replace the milk and the chicken broth is good. Also, I use lots of curry powder.

Chicken Costa Brava

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2007
Everyone that has tried this loves it. I prefer to cut the chicken into cubes and I add a little more of the spices. Depending on who I am making it for I also like to add varying amounts of hot sauce. Great Recipe, Thanks!

Amy's Garlic Egg Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2007
My husband and I thought this was great and it was really simple! I cut the recipe in half except for the egg yolk. I would be tempted to use one yolk per breast the next time, since I didn't have any left after coating the chicken. Also, I didn't have time to marinate, but it didn't seem to hurt anything.

These are addictive! They don't last an hour out of the oven.

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2008
This was excellent! I reduced the sugar to 1/4 cup as others have done. It came out perfect. It was very flavorful and had a nice hearty texture. I'll be using this recipe often.

Excellent recipe! These were quick and easy and baked up perfectly. I'll never buy the refrigerated stuff again.

Chewy Coconut Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
My husband loved these! I did as others suggested and doubled the vanilla, salt and coconut and used a full cup of walnuts. I also used butter flavored shortening. I think the extra nuts and coconut are what made these more than just a chocolate chip cookie in a bar form. I will be making these again.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2008
I wasn't happy with the way these turned out. They were bland and cake-like. I had a recipe similar to this that had more flavor and was crisp and chewy. I think the water is unnecessary, instead more butter, peanut butter and a little salt would help.
