It is testament to how great this recipe is that it still tasted great, even after my disastrous attempt at making it. This was the first cheesecake I had ever made. I overbeat it (through ignorance), my springform pan leaked about a quarter of the mixture into the bottom of my oven and my oven was too hot and so when it cooled it developed the Grand Canyon of cracks in it. HOWEVER, it tasted great and got rave reviews from the whole extended family. So thanks Chantal, I'll definitely be trying it again.
