Freda's Cherry Supreme Salad

I made this as a dessert for our New Years eve party. All who tried it, wanted the recipe, which I gladly gave it. I made it as written only eliminated the walnuts because of food allergies. Otherwise it was GREAT!!! Thank you for sharing.

Wine-Cooked Pork Tenderloin/Slow Cooker

I eliminated the soy sauce as I'm on a low-sodium diet. In place of the red wine, which I didn't have, I used 1 cup Blackberry Merlot Wine and cut the water to 3/4 cup. It was GREAT!!!! My husband even used the juice over his baked potatoes! I'd give this recipe 10 stars if I could. Thanks for sharing.

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

I served these as an evening snack, rather than as a meal. They went over really well with everyone who ate them. I'll be making them again and freezing them individually, so they can be reheated in the microwave as needed.

German Chocolate Cake Cookies

I made these cookies for the raffle table at my club meeting. I had extra copies of the recipe for anyone that wanted them. The next month, I got 11 raves for the cookies, so they will be made again. Everyone at my house, loves Chocolate - in any form.

Smoky Southwest Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

My husband isn't too fond of rice in any form except for rice pudding. I was lucky to get a bowl of this wonderful soup - before he finished all of it. I'll be making it again - as we enjoy soup regardless of the weather.

Fat Boy Nacho Cheese Dip

I cubed the cheese and put it into a microwave safe bowl and melted it in the microwave first. Then I poured it into the slow cooker and added the balance of ingredients, stirred thoroughly and set the dial to warm. It was great!!

Because I'm on a low-sodium diet, I used low-sodium baking powder and baking soda. And because the sugar content is so high, I used 1 cup Splenda in place of the white sugar. I also made additional batter as suggested, as it didn't look like enough for a bundt or tube pan. The results were great. I made several cakes to share at my club and church meetings. I also made 24 copies of the recipe for those that wanted it. Thanks for sharing!!

Easy Morning Glory Muffins

I used Splenda in place of white sugar and low-sodium baking soda and eliminated the salt as I'm on a low-sodium diet. I used dried cranberries in place of the raisins. (I used 1/4 cup oil and 3/4 cup of applesauce as recommended by another member). The muffins were very moist and delicious. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Shortcut Carrot Cake

I made this for my club meeting and there wasn't a crumb left. BUT I made it in a 13x9x2" baking pan and baked it for 40 minutes in a 350 degree oven. When the cake was thoroly cooled, I topped it with 2/3rds of the Cool-whip mixture. I used the balance of the topping for dipping fresh strawberried, slices of apples, nectarines and peaches...yummy!! Many thanks for sharing this great recipe with us!!

Grandma's Butter Noodles

Carrot Cake Cookies

Great recipe - I was able to get one cookie before they were all gone. So I made a 2nd batch. but used 1 cup sliced almonds in place of the walnuts and 1 cup dried cranberries in place of the raisins and I hid 10 cookies for me before my husband found I'd made more.

Slow Cooker Cranberry Roast

Reicpe was very good not only with a beef roast, but with pork roast, chicken breasts and cut up chicken. My family raved about all the cuts of meat and poultry they tried it with.
