I'm 77 years young, retired and love to cook, sew and crochet doll clothes, surf the net and visit with my internet friends; talk to my grandkids on a monthly basis. Four of my grand kids live in Arkansas; 3 live in California and 2 in No. Dakota. Five great-grand kids live in California and seven live in Arkansas.

My favorite family cooking traditions
My parents were from Poland. My children's father's parents had a mixture of Scottish, Irish, English and Potawatamie Indian. My oldest son's wife's family were from Arkansas of Irish descent. My youngest son's wife family were a mixture of italian, Greek and French...so we all enjoyed a variety of foods which we prepare for family reunions, picnics and the holidays.
My cooking triumphs
At age 9, I finally made a pie crust that was light and flaky...not like the rubber ball I'd made before! So far all of the pie crusts have been great!
My cooking tragedies
Spinach souffle
