Tzatziki I

Reviewed: May 7, 2010
I like the sauce thicker too, but I simply use Plain Greek yogurt. It is now readily available even at Krogers. Thick with no draining time!

Stove-Top Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2009
This is how I always make macaroni and cheese for the kids - they hate the box kind - I also add a touch of parmesan cheese and a pinch of dry mustart. For those that say the sauce is grainy - it is your technique at fault - not the recipe. You must constantly whisk the flour and butter mixture and slowly whisk in the milk and constantly whisk the mixture even as you add the cheese and it will be as smooth as velvet.

Coconut Ice Cream

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2007
This is a great recipe. To make it even better I take a Dove Dark Chocolate candy bar (or 5 small pieces) and shave it with a knife and add that to the final five minutes of freezing time - don't use chocolate chips -they are too waxy when frozen - dove remains smooth. This is truly like a mounds bar.

Easy Baklava

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2007
A little time consuming, but so easy. Really takes less time and easier than making a cake - no icing time! :) Went great with our Greek night dinner party.

Dad's Pan-Fried Green Beans

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2006
My family thinks these are the best green beans EVER. My 5 year son old gets upset when they are all gone! Can't beat that for a positive review.
