Schweinebraten Pork Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2010
I made this in my crock pot and it was great! It only took about 3 1/2 hours on low (my crock cooks pretty fast) for my 2 1/2lb roast. I also cooked green beans (frozen) and carrots with it and they, too, came out fabulous!!

It was great! I lined my crockpot with frozen green beans and carrots and added the roast with the rest of the ingredients! I cooked it all day on low. Served it with thick egg noodles.

Excellent! I used frozen blueberries and they were really good. The crumb topping was amazing- I am going to try it on top of an apple pie.

Chicken Kokkinisto with Orzo

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2010
This is great!! I read the reviews and took their advice because I too only use skinless boneless chicken breasts-I brown the chicken first and saute the onions and garlic in 2 tbs. white wine. I also use chicken broth (if I have it) in place of the water. My family loves this recipe!!!

The Original Potato Salad with Real Mayonnaise

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2010
Maybe I cooked the potatoes too long but I thought it was mushy! I also thought it was lacking in taste. It needs some spicing up! Next time I will try and add some spices.

Classic Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2010
WOW! Fabulous-haven't had macaroni salad this good since we left New York. Just like they make in the NY deli's. I followed the directions exactly but left out the carrots and pimentos. I also used different colored peppers I would also suggest making it a day ahead, it tastes better the longer it sits in the fridge.

Fast Chicken Soup Base

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2009
I love this base instead of a can of chicken broth!! Do not simmer the chiken bones and skin longer than 1 hour or 2 as it can get very oily!! I do simmer the veggies for a few hours and it's awesome! I've used this for all chiken based soups including Matzo ball soup! It's so great. Also can be frozen!

Italian Heroes

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2009
These were very good even though the bottom of the bread was soggy (thats why I gave it only 4 stars)!! I didn't see this problem with any other viewer. I used a crusty Italian loaf but might have taken out too much of the inside bread.

I've tried a few meatloaf recipes but this one is a keeper!! Not only does it taste great, it looks great too!!! I didn't have dried minced onions so I used a handful of chopped fresh onions and I didnt wait to glaze it, I added it right before I put it in the crock for 5 1/2 hours. Great Great Great!!

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2009
WOW! This was great! A tip for leftover soup-I added more chicken broth to thin out the soup because it becomes real thick sitting in the fridge. It worked out well!!!!
