Slow Cooker Tender and Yummy Round Steak

This is a great "throw together" recipe that smells great and works for a busy schedule! I used top round steak and baby carrots. I also added 1 can of sliced potatoes an hour before serving. Next time I will add mushrooms! I served with green beans and wide noodles! Awesome gravy too!

Fresh Tomato Shrimp Pasta

WOW....was this good! The only changes I made was because of what I had in the house.I used 1TBS of dried basil and oregano. 1 can of diced tomatoes and 1 cup of frozen chopped spinach I also used thin spaghetti. It was fantastic!

Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

This was great! THe gravy was amazing! I made a few changes because of what I had on hand and what my family likes: I used chopped frozen onions and white wine vinegar. I did not use any hot sauce. I cooked the meat on low for 5 hours and it came out great ( I have a 6qt. crock and it cooks pretty fast)! My roast was about 3 lbs. I also added wondra to the gravy to thicken it up after I took the meat out and strained the juice. Great tasting gravy to top the mashed potatoes I served it with.

Super-Delicious Zuppa Toscana

I used sweet Italian Sausage, frozen diced onion, frozen spinach and 2 canns of potatoes. After browning, I didn't add bacon, instead I sauteed the onions, garlic and frozen spinach. I added the chicken broth and potatoes and brought it to a boil. I added a cup of half and half and sauasage and reduced heat to low.

Roasted Red Pepper Cream Sauce

I loved this recipe. I used 1 package of frozen 3 peppers and onions. I also froze 1/2 the sauce because I had alot of it left over. I am going to try it with lobster Ravioli next time.

Antipasto Squares

I made this for lunch and it was great! I didn't use swiss cheese just the provolone and I sprinkled garlic and basil seasoning on top. I baked it in a ceramic dish and it came out perfect-not soggy!

Steak Stir-Fry

I love love love this recipe! I use beef broth instead just because I always have it on hand. I also use london broil meat just because it cooks well and isn't chewy! I also use a bag of frozen stir fry veggies instead of fresh veggies!

Quick Gnocchi

These are great! I will never buy another store bought gnocch again!!!! Just make sure you make a double batch because they go fast! I followed the directions exactly escept I don't add salt to anything I make. I also let the dough sit in the fridge for 15 minutes as another reviewer suggested. I also roll each with my fork after I cut them! YUMMY!

Pasta Pomodoro

We loved this dish! I used 1TBS. dried basil and added it when I added the balsamic vinegar. I would probably double the amount of tomatoes next time just because I love tomatoes and they really do boil down! Also, I didn't add the parm and I am glad I didn't....it was perfect!!!

The Best Potato Salad

My husband really loved this potato salad! I used my egg slicer to slice the eggs and potatoes because we like chunky potato salad like they make in New York. It doesn't taste like the New York deli's make, but its good!

Corned Beef and Cabbage

A really good corned beef! I used my crockpot and cooked it all day! I made sure I had enough water to cover the corned beef. I alsodidn't add cabbage because noone in my family eats it. A really good dinner!

Teriyaki Finger Steaks

This is an amazing marinade! I sliced and skewered a london broil. I also added mushrooms and grape tomatoes! I followed the recipe exasctly and it was awesome! I can't wait to make this again!

Mama's Asian Chicken and Rice

HOORAY...My pickey family loved this recipe! We do not like spicy dishes so this was perfect for us! I did not have chinese 5 spice or orange peel so I didn't add them. I did add a pinch of ground ginger (I love this spice) when browning the chicken. I served it with sushi rice and edemame! It is now on my weekly dinner menu!

Terrific Turkey Chili

This was my first time making chili and it was great! . I used 2lbs turkey. Browned it then threw it all in a crockpot on low for 6 hours. I changed some of the ingredients just because of what I had on hand. I added chili powder instead of flakes. I also added a bag of frozen 3 peppers and onions blend. I did not add the Chili peppers (we dont like it hot) and the zucchini (I couldnt find it this time of year). I will definately add it when its in season next time.

Fast and Friendly Meatballs

I love these meatballs! All I added was some garlic and basil seasonings. I baked them just like the recipes says and put them in the fridge. When ready to use them, I slow cook them! Delicious!!!

Teriyaki Sauce

I keep this marinade in the fridge so we can use it frequently as either a dipping sauce for salmon (I like it with panko crusted salmon) or as a marinade for chicken. I like it best in the crock with chicken and green beans (I use frozen green beans)-they come out so unbelievably tasty!!! And don't change a thing...it is great just the way it is written!
