Amazingly Good Eggnog

Only added 1 C of bacardi rum and it was PERFECT!!!!! Also at the end added 1 tsp of vanilla plus 1/2 of fresh vanilla pod

GREAT BASE RECIPE! If you are wondering what I mean by that I mean that this recipe can be changed so many ways and still turn out GREAT! For a Gluten free friend I changed the crispy rice to spelt puffs and the oat to spelt flakes. Another time i used almond butter instead of peanut butter and it turned out great. I've added/subtracted so many things instead of raisins - you can mix nuts, dried fruits. Just use your imagination!!!

Poached Orange Pears

This was amazing. Great dessert which was quick and easy to make and will WOW your guests by the presentation (looks like you would get it in a 5 star restaurant). I added 1 cup of white wine to the sauce and served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. YUM!

Roasted Vegetable Lasagna

I would almost double the amount of vegtables used because I found that there wasn't enough substance to the lasagna - but that's just me. This was great warmed up the next day.

Springfield Style Cashew Chicken I

I made this recipe by stir frying the chicken in a tablespoon of oil instead of frying it. Poured the sauce over and wa-la. An amazing meal, quick and easy.

Unbelievably Good Fruit Dip

I made this for my book club, which is all women who cook and isn't shy to tell me if something isn't good. Well they ATE almost all of it - I didn't have enough fruit. And they loved it!! So it is book club approved.

Easy Cheese Ball II

This is a wonderfully easy recipe. I halved the recipe and found that it was MORE than enough - it was twice as large as the cheese balls you buy in the market.

White Chocolate and Cranberry Cookies

I was hesitant to make these cookies because at first there didn't seem much to it. But that's the best part. I was soooo impressed how much flavor there was in these and how delcious they were. A definate recommendation!! Easy to make, which is good cause you'll have to make more after you make them once. :)

Mom's Ginger Snaps
