Slow Cooker Chicken Stew

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2010
I make this one all the time, but i did a few additions, i added bay leaf, ommited out the apples, and added fresh mushrooms instead, due to the fact that my two sons dont care much for sweet flavored chicken stew I had to do some changes, I also added some celery seeds, oregano, garlic powder, some coarse pepper, a touch of Louisiana hot sauce, and a dash of white wine, Beautifully Delicious!!!

Easy Salmon

Reviewed: May 19, 2005
Sorry people, Frankly i didnt like the flavor of the salmon, my kids loved it, I may have cooked it longer than expected, like 5 minutes more, being i had thick salmon, flavor was not flavored into the salmon, salmon wasnt moist enough, due to my mess up of cookin it 5 minutes longer, i had to add butter on top the sauce to heighten the flaver and little more hawaiian salt!! Sorry, I Wont Make this again, I will stick with my Wasabe, minced onions, Mayonaise,Dill, Lemon, recipe,(Salmon) if anyone is interested in my #1 Wasabe/Mayonaise salmon recipe, this one is a winner!! Aloha, Marty from kahaluumauka4@aol.com (AGAIN MY APOLOGIES!!).

Slow Cooker Chicken with Mushroom Wine Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2005
HONESTLY SPEAKING THIS RECIPE SOUNDS DELICIOUS, I NOTICE SOME VIEWERS CLAIMED THERE CHICKEN WAS AT NO FLAVOR AND OR DRY TO MY OPINION, USE CHICKEN THIGHS AND REMOVE THE SKIN FROM THE CHICKEN DUE TO THE HIGH OIL CONTENT THE SKIN OF THE CHICKEN GIVES OUT, NEXT IF YOU WANT YOU CAN PIERCE WITH A FORK SOME AREA'S OF THE CHICKEN SO THE SAUCE CAN SEEP THRU THE CHICKEN, TO ADD SOME KICK TO THE CHICKEN IS TO RUB SOME OF THE GARLIC POWDER ON THE CHICKEN, AND SALT AND PEPPER, BE LITE ON THE SALT DUE TO THE MUSHROOM SOUP GIVES OUT SALT FLAVOR ALREADY, OR TO BE SAFE USE LOW SODIUM CREAM OF MUSHROOM SOUP!! GOOD LUCK OUT THERE!!

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2005
I JUST HAD DINNER WITH THIS WONDERFUL CHICKEN AND TO LET YOU KNOW ITS 100% DELICIOUS!!!! BUT I MADE A FEW CHANGES, I RUBBED IN THE WHOLE CHICKEN SKIN WITH REAL BUTTER, GARLIC, SPRINKLED THE LEMON/PEPPER OF MRS. DASH, KOSHER SALT (LIKE HAWAIIAN SALT), GARLIC POWDER,MINCED CELERY AND PUT IN THE CAVITY OF THE CHICKEN, LOTS OF GARLIC IN THERE TOO!! POURED SOME CHICKEN BROTH ON BOTTOM OF THE BALLED UP ALUMINUM FOIL, PUT LITTLE BUTTER IN THE BOTTOM OF CROCK POT, RUBBED THE WHOLE CHICKEN THOROUGHLY WITH BUTTER OUTSIDE TOO OF THE CHICKEN AND THE HAWAIIAN SALT AND THE MRS. DASH LEMON PEPPER, THEN LET IT COOK ON HIGH FOR AN HOUR, THEN TURNED IT DOWN TO COOK ON LOW FOR 7 HOURS THEREAFTER, TURNED OUT 100% MOIST, FALL OFF THE BONE, TASTY!!!! MAKE SURE YOU MAKE RICE AND THICKEN THE GRAVY ON THE BOTTOM OF THE CROCK POT, (THICKEN WITH CORN STARCH), THEN POUR THE GRAVY ON THE RICE AND ON THE CHICKEN...ONE WINNER FOR SURE!! ALOHA MARTHY FROM OAHU HAWAII!!

Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2005
I FEEL SO UPSET FOR NOT USING MY SLOW COOKER TO COOK THIS APPLE PORK CHOPS, BEING IT WAS LATE AFTERNOON, I HAD TO USE THE OVEN, AND OMITTED OUT THE WATER, AND USED APPLE JUICE AND MOTT'S APPLESAUCE, AND A COUPLE OF GARLICS, AND ALL THE SAME INGREDIENTS, IM SAD IT DIDNT REALLY COOKED REAL THRU LIKE IT DID WITH MY SLOW COOKER/CROCK POT,( I MADE THIS BEFORE IN THE SLOW COOKER). AFTER FRYING THE PORK CHOPS., I THEN BAKED IT FOR AN HOUR, STILL, IT DIDNT REALLY FALL OFF THE BONE LIKE IT DID WITH MY CROCK POT, WELL, IT WAS STILL GOOD BUT WOULD BE 100% BETTER IN MY CROCK POT!!! NO WORRY, I WILL MAKE THIS DELICIOUS RECIPE, BUT IN MY CROCK POT!!!!
