Southwestern Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2006
AWESOME! My husband has asked for these everyday for three days in a row after I made then for a party. Everyone forot the other dishes I prepared and gobbled these up quickly. My husband even makes them himself; adding his own twist. That's a lot for a man who doesn't do much cooking. When I first made these I followed the recipe and the measurements exact, but now I just throw the ingredients together and it still comes out great.

Love these wings. They require more time than I'd like, but they're worth it.

Hot Italian Giardiniera

Reviewed: May 1, 2012
Love this. Kept the pieces bite-sized because my hubby and I just snacked on it. Did not include red bell peppers because we did not have any and just added more cauliflower (my favorite). To prevent oil from solidifying as one reviewer mentioned, used half grapeseed oil and half olive oil…no worries about that. This is a MUST TRY! About to start my second batch.

Boudreaux's Zydeco Stomp Gumbo

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2008
I'm from New Orleans and now live in Atlanta GA. This gumbo reminds me of home. I did take the advice of some others and used 3/4 cup each flour and olive oil. When I made it previously as the recipe was written with 1 cup each flour/olive oil, it was way to greasy and I had to skim the excess oil, but not this time. so 4 stars due to the excess greasiness.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2008
Good recipe. Husband loved it. I would omit the added salt next time. The other ingredients have enough sodium. It was a bit too salty for me though.
