My favorite family cooking traditions
My heritage (Vietnamese) cooking tradition is complicated yet balanced and health consciencious. My own family everyday cooking is simple, healthy, low fat/carb. However, we experience more exotic dishes and perhaps higher in fat/carb content.
My cooking triumphs
I have a few moments of triumphants. One being that I copied a receipe to a tee just by tasting it.
My cooking tragedies tragedies that I can remember. Baking on the other hand...disaster. What can I say, I suck at baking (from scratch that is.)

Crabby Cream Cheese Wontons
I like this recipe. I cut the Worcestershire, soy, and sesame sauce in half. I like the idea of scallion in this recipe. I changed it up with pastry dough vs. wonton wrapper, and I used cans crab mixed with imitation crab meat and imitation lobster meat. Baked at 350 degree.

Spinach Pie V
Very good. I subtracted the cottage cheese and added crumbled feta cheese. I also added some fresh lemon juice to the mixture. At the end, I used croissant rolls instead. Thank you.
