Chicago Dip

Too band for us. I added chopped artichoke hearts and parmesan cheese but still lacked something. I took it to a party and many others seemed to like it.

Ham and Cheese Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2006
Awesome! Added about a 1/4 cup of red onion and a couple of Tbsp of dill relish. Served on the small Hawaian rolls -- just wonderful. The recipe is similar to my own but had never thought about adding the cheese, mustard and doing in the processor. How easy. A keeper.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2007
Excellent! I followed the recipe amost exactly adding only black pepper and garlic salt. I spread the bun with horseradish mayo and topped with provolone and put under broiler until melted and toasty -- then topped with the beef. Really nice flavor and oh so easy! A keeper -- thanks!

Really good flavor! I used jalepeno sauce as we like them blazing hot -- really good -- almost like the real thing but much easier. Thanks

Delicious Easy Chicken Francese

Reviewed: May 25, 2007
Awesome! Served over angel hair pasta with grated parmesan cheese added and it was a real hit! Per other's suggestion, I added garlic salt and increased the corn starch to 1 TBP -- otherwise followed exactly and it is a real keeper!

Kickin' London Broil with Bleu Cheese Butter

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2007
This was awesome (except,as several others have suggested, the wonderful flavors deserve a better steak than London Broil. Even though I cooked it med rare, it was tough! I will use a good steak next time and really savor the flavorful rub and the blue cheese topping (which I doubled)! A keeper!

This was excellent. I followed the recipe exactly except added the jalepeno seeds and all as we like spicy! It was not too spicy and had a nice kick! Thanks for a real keeper.

Slow Cooker Lancaster County Pork and Sauerkraut

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2007
I made this dish at the request of a friend who remembered having it in Ohio when he was young! Followed the recipe exactly except added the apple suggested by others -- did use a dark beer! Per my friend, I served with mashed potatoes. It was very good -- is now on my schedule of meals I cook regularly. It was my husband and my first taste of this Dutch delight but my friend said it was the best he had ever eaten. Thanks for a great recipe!

Zippy Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2007
This was really great! I pretty much followed the recipe exactly but used the Country Crock already prepared mashed potatoes. I added butter and sour cream to them before topping the meat filling. Topped with white Cheddar! Delcious -- a keeper. The curry really does add a nice touch and "zips" it up a little -- subtle but very nice! Thanks for sharing.

French Beef Stew

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2007
WOW! This was wonderful! I pretty much followed the recipe exactly except: used only 1 can of the Italian tomatoes because I only had one. I put in an equal amount of White Zinfandel wine - used it to deglaze the pan after browning as someone else suggested. I added 2 TBSP of Worchestershire sauce because we like it. I did let the meat simmer for about an hour before adding the potatoes and carrots to ensure the meat was tender! It was DELICIOUS! This will definitely be a keeper and one that I prepare often. Plus, it is easy to prepare and takes little time except for the cooking! Thanks for a great recipe!

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2007
Good recipe. Using the advice of others, I cooked the frozen breasts in chicken broth in the crock pot on high for about 3 hours. They shredded nicely - then drained the broth, added the BBQ sauce mixture and cooked on low for 2 hours. Very good -- use a BBQ sauce you like!!! I served on toasted buns, topped with parmesan cheese and served cole slaw on the side! Will make again using Rudy's Sause! A keeper!
