I am in my mid 20's and have been cooking most of my life. My mother taught me to bake when I was like 5. I have really developed an interest in cooking over the last couple of years. I have been experimenting a lot more with seafood, and fresh vegetables and herbs.
My favorite things to cook
Pasta's! I love to make a good pasta.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I cook dinner for me and my husband EVERY night! We always have dinner together and he will quite often assist me in the kitchen. It is great quality time and I use the hour to unwind and relax from a long day.
My cooking triumphs
I have only ever made a couple of things that didnt turn out alright. Mostly everything I make is at the least edible!
My cooking tragedies
I seem to not be able to do one-dishers very well! I made a tatertot casserole at the urging of a co-worker. It end up this big grey mushy mess! It didnt taste bad, but it looked like such a pile of , my husband and I couldnt even eat it! That was when I decided I am not a casserole kind of person - I prefer more semi gormet type dishes!

My mother in law made these once - without the extra chocolate drizzle on the top. She used Rolo candies and they were WONDERFUL. She does weight watchers and said they were only one point each! So they are a nice snack, assuming that you don't eat 10 at a time! Which is very well something you may want to do.

Warm Goat Cheese Sandwiches
My husband LOVES these. He still makes them as a snack often. He likes to experiment with stuff to put in them. Most of the time, he leave it just the way it is.

Pasta Carcione
Love this recipe. My favorite pasta. Of course this needs to be adjusted for your tastes with the goat cheese, and I always add chicken.
