I am in my mid 20's and have been cooking most of my life. My mother taught me to bake when I was like 5. I have really developed an interest in cooking over the last couple of years. I have been experimenting a lot more with seafood, and fresh vegetables and herbs.
My favorite things to cook
Pasta's! I love to make a good pasta.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I cook dinner for me and my husband EVERY night! We always have dinner together and he will quite often assist me in the kitchen. It is great quality time and I use the hour to unwind and relax from a long day.
My cooking triumphs
I have only ever made a couple of things that didnt turn out alright. Mostly everything I make is at the least edible!
My cooking tragedies
I seem to not be able to do one-dishers very well!
I made a tatertot casserole at the urging of a co-worker. It end up this big grey mushy mess! It didnt taste bad, but it looked like such a pile of , my husband and I couldnt even eat it! That was when I decided I am not a casserole kind of person - I prefer more semi gormet type dishes!
