New England Dinner

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2006
This recipe was really good! Both my husband and I really liked it and I will definitely be making it again. I took previous poster advice and used chicken broth (1 can)and added celery and onions. I also covered it and it took almost an hour to bake. We found it very flavorful, as well as easy and satisfying.

Brownie Biscotti

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2004
These biscotti are great! I keep them on hand all the time now. I use melted semi-sweet squares on the flat side instead of mini chips, and I don't use the egg wash. I don't always have nuts, but they taste just as good without. I reduce the first bake time to 15 minutes and the second and third to 6 minutes each. They always come out perfect for me and don't crumble using a sharp chef's knife. These biscotti have just the right amount of sweetness and chocolate flavor and are just the thing with a cup of hot coffee! Thanks, Linda for this recipe.

Overnight Cinnamon Rolls I

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2004
My daughters and I made this recipe for Easter morning breakfast. It was a HUGE success! We left out the raisins because of personal preferences, and I don't see how these could be any better. They were thick, soft and not a bit dry. I brushed the dough with melted butter before adding the brown sugar/cinnamon mixture as did a previous poster; and only baked them for 20 minutes. We can't wait to make them again! Thanks, Marilyn!

Cream Cheese Cut-Outs II

I have never been able to get Sugar Cookies right until this recipe. My daughter and I made them and the whole family was impressed. Even those who normally don't like sugar cookies liked these. The dough was very easy to work with and the taste was great. After reading the other reviews I think I will roll mine a little thicker next time, but that is a matter of preference. This cookie had no bad points in our opinion. We will make them again!
