Great recipe even with my changes/mistakes. I made it with half marg. and half butter, a almost half the banana than called for, and a mixture of all-purpose, self-rising and whole wheat flour because I was short. Because of the self-rising flour I did not add any soda, but I think it needed more. I also sprinkled the top with course sugar and it made a wonderful crunchy, sparkly topping. Next time I am going to try just using real butter and white flour, and adding chocolate chips and chopped marashino cherries, and will definitely use the whole amount of banana.
