Matus Winery was really crowded, we met up with Rick & Julie, and a couple of Julies friends.   I had their Cabernet.. it could have been a little drier, but let's just say, I didn't throw the wine away! Today, I am making chicken casserole and pineapple angel food cake… MORE

I have made this same margarita recipe for more than 25 years, time tested.. most Mexican restaurant Margaritas can't even compare to this one! If you want to kick it up a a few notches, use Gran Marnier instead of triple sec.. amazing!!!!

Ronaldo's Beef Carnitas
I followed what others had said, and put the meat in foil & in the crock pot (and also 2 cans of chiles). Yum.. it has flavor & heat. I'm a little mystified by the comments about the flavors being bland... perhaps the chili powder was too old.

Angel Chicken Pasta
AWESOME!! I had some Rondele garlic & herb spread in my fridge that I substituted for the cream cheese & chives. I was worried that there would be too many spices... but no, it turned out great!! Next time I might try putting Marsala wine and adding more mushrooms. YUMMM!!
