Ryan's Favorite Beans

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2005
These beans are excellent! I put mine in the crock pot for nine hours and served with cornbread for a delicious main course meal. Also, it is possible to substitute ketchup for the barbeque sauce, just increase the vinegar to 3T. and the smoke flavoring to 1T.

Amazing Almond Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2009
This is a really, really good recipe. Like other members, I recommend at least halving the mayo, and I toasted my almonds for a stronger flavor. Other than that, my family likes it as it is. Thanks for this great casserole!

Vegetable Beef Minestrone

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2005
Not at all good. The bacon is a terrible mistake, the flavor seems out of place in a vegetable soup.

Sweet and Sour Chicken II

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2005
So excellent! I followed previous suggestions and only used 1/3 c. of vinegar and the sauce was just right. The thing I like about this recipe is that you can throw in any vegetables you like and it still tastes wonderful. I also served over brown rice to up the nutritional content.

Pork Chops with Dill Pickle Marinade

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2006
Surprisingly good and very easy. Even my picky kids ate this one. I didn't have any problems with the green color that others have complained about, and marinating for so long makes the meat extremly tender. I'm not nuts about pickles, so I was skeptical, but it's good!

Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2010
Best Soup Ever!! I have made this several times, since I enjoy a creamy soup with no chunks, I just throw everything in the blender when it's done cooking and then add it to the already thickened chicken stock.

Baked Potato Soup V

This is my favorite baked potato soup recipe, not very light on the calories, but oh sooooo good.

Bacon Wrapped Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2010
This was pretty good, it has an interesting flavor. Next time I make it, I won't wrap the bacon around the chicken...it doesn't cook up enough for me. I will just cook and crumble the bacon into the sauce. For the cream cheese, I used a flavored chive and onion cream cheese as a shortcut.

Blackberry Cobbler II

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2010
Ohhhh, this was goooood. The cobbler part is not dry at all, and sweetened just perfectly. The only downside is that blackberries tend to turn your whole mouth funny colors...good for a laugh with your family, but not so impressive for a date! Thanks for the recipe!!

Angela's Awesome Enchiladas

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2010
This was really good. I didn't have chicken on hand so I had to substitute ground beef, and it tasted just fine. It's not that spicy of a dish, so my whole family enjoyed it. I did throw in extra lime juice because I like lime flavor. Yummy, thanks!

Bacon Sunshine Skillet

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2005
Really good! I also had a problem with burning the potatoes before the eggs had set, so when the potatoes started getting a little "crispy", I cut the whole thing in half and used a large spatula to flip it over(one half at a time) to cook the top. Then I transferred the whole thing to a pie plate and put it in the oven to melt the cheese.
