About this Cook
My name is Cheryl. I am married and have one kid, a son named Ethan. Cooking is one of my passions. I also love sewing, cross stitching, crafting, music, computer games (I'm a big ol' nerd hehe)
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking all kinds of things. I think pasta dishes are my favorite though. I also love to bake things. I love collecting cookbooks. And I'm always looking for new things to cook. I also love making up my own recipes. I'm lucky that I have a husband who is very open when it comes to food. He will eat anything! My son, not so much.
My cooking triumphs
The very first Thanksgiving I did all on my own, with out the help of my mother, turned out to be a huge success! I made a spicy honey glazed turkey, that turned out divine!

Korean BBQ Chicken Marinade
Fantastic! I made it exactly as written, using all of the optional ingredients. After marinading for a few hours, I browned the chicken in a pan with the marinade. I cooked it down to a thick sauce consistency and served it over rice. YUM!

Slow Cooker Lentils and Sausage
I cooked this on High for 3 hours and it wasn't done. It needed another hour and a half before the lentils were done! The flavor was just Ok. It really needed more spice.

Chocolate Bar Fondue
Sooo good! I used half dark chocolate and half milk chocolate, and I also only used half the coffee powder. It was FANTASIC! I used pound cake, strawberries, raspberries, bananas, pretzel sticks, and potato chips!
