Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2013
I used apple vinegar since I didn't have any white and they were still perfect!

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2013
Followed directions as close as I could with what I had. Didn't have ginger so didn't use that, and used Stove Top in lieu of crackers. I put the brown suger and ketchup, and added Worcestershire sauce to the bottom of the pan as well as the top of the meatloaf. Also added cooked onion and green pepers. HUGE hit with the family!

Heavenly White Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2010
Best white cake recipe I have found. I also added a 1/2 cup of mile and made my meringue after all other ingrediants were mixed. I only sifted dry ingredients twice opposed to the recommended 3 times...it was still super fluffy and light. It didnt rise as well as I had hoped, but believe my baking powder may have been a little outdated. All my reviews I received on this cake were on the lightness and fluffiness. Delicious! Definitely will be the recipe for my son's 3rd b-day.

New York Cheesecake III

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2010
The taste is right on, exactly what I was looking for. I have made this recipe at least 4 times and have yet to find the correct cooking time. The middle just wont get done enough...the top browns and I'm afraid to let it go much further than 2 hours.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2009
Delicious! My husband told me hands down this is the best lasagna he's ever had. I used turkey meat instead of beef and sage pork sausage instead of sweet sausage and it was still wonderful! I thought that taking the time to make my own sauce would be a waste of time and thought i would decide to buy spaghetti sauce for the next time I made it, but I wont. There is something special about this homemade sauce that I dont think you can get with a canned sauce. Will definitely make again.

Chinese Cabbage Salad I

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2009
I also added seeds and a little more soy sauce and vinegar for our personal tangy taste. Also topped with wasabi peas...delicious with a little more crunch!

Alaska Salmon Bake with Pecan Crunch Coating

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2009
Excellent! I didnt have bread crumbs, so I substituted french fried onions, added a bit of garlic to the marinade and a bit of rosemary to the topping, and didn't have pecans...but had walnuts. Even with these changes and substites it was the best homemade salmon we have ever had. I can't wait to try again when I actually have pecans!
