Apple Cranberry Relish

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2014
I've been making this for years but with about half the sugar. Very popular at Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. I now buy extra cranberries to freeze so I can make it at Easter as well.

Bread Pudding II

I don't like raisins so I used dried cranberries instead. Otherwise, followed the recipe as is. Delicious! Just like my Scottish grandmother used to make!

Cafe Latte

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2008
I lost 70lbs last year and am back to my high school weight but refused to give up lattes! I made this with non-fat milk and used a battery powered frother and got lots of foam, and it tasted fantastic! Thanks!

I made this with slightly less milk and more coffee and I think I like this better than Starbucks :) Thanks!

Best Lemonade Ever

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2008
I used my Cuisinart juicer and this was very quick and easy, surprisingly so. I did reduce the sugar, as my husband likes it a little more tart. I didn't wait for the syrup to chill, simply poured it over ice.

Bananas Foster II

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2008
I've made this a couple times, each time differently. The first time, we had it as per the directions, and with ice cream. The second time, I used chopped bananas and rolled the bananas foster in fresh homemade crepes and served warm with ice cream. Both were yummy!

Basic Pasta

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2008
I doubled the recipe as well, and it turned out great. I used the pasta machine to roll it out in a long thin sheet, then used round cutters to make ravioli! Delish!

Instant Pistachio Salad

My mom made this when I was growing up too. My grown up variation is using chocolate pudding and chocolate chips instead of pistachio and pineapple.

Basic Sauce for Pasta

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2008
I was out of oregano so I just used Italian seasoning instead. Used this sauce for homemade chicken ravioli and it was great! Super easy recipe that you can get going while you're doing other things. Fabulous for a busy mom!

Tortellini Soup I

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2008
I scaled this back for 4 servings, used mushrooms instead of zucchini and it was great! Next time I think I'm going to try it with a French Onion Soup type crust on the top. Thanks!

My dad used to make thse when I was little, and he was also from Tennessee. I've been looking for a recipe for a while, because mine never seemed to turn out right. I use the same ingredients but I fry mine like Daddy used to. Thanks so much.

I'd tried this recipe before and I wasn't crazy about it. After reading the reviews I tried it again and added the sesame oil and it was fabulous! Glad I gave it another chance, this one's a keeper!

Easy Spicy Chicken and Rice

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2007
I don't understand how someone can change the recipe then give it a bad rating ... I made it as is and it was great! I was sick and was looking for something quick and easy that would satisfy the family and this is definitely it! It's definitely going on the list of things for regular family dinners! I'll be looking to see what else this person has to offer!

I made these for my daughter's sleepover, leaving out the jalapenos. They went so fast, I didn't even get one! Next time I'll have to make 3 or 4 batches!

Wonton Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2007
Tried this one again, did some tweaking .. made it with chicken because the pork and shrimp didn't work for me. Also skipped the ginger and added sesame oil and vinegar instead of the wine. Wasn't bad. Still needs something.

Easy Tiramisu

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2007
This was the weirdest runny pudding type thing I've ever seen. I've made it twice, and both times, it was just runny and disgusting. I tried more sugar, and more cheese, and it also seemed to have too much vanilla. I just brushed the lady fingers with coffee as the recipe called for waaaaaay to much .. but still, runny, gross mess!
