About this Cook
I"m 20 years old and I love to dance!
My favorite things to cook
My favourite thing to do is bake for people, I've been baking since I was about 10! I love cooking healthy main courses, trying out new techniques and methods. I'm all about fresh ingredients, and good for you food!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas baking :)
My cooking triumphs
A chocolate sponge cake that had a tunnel of chocolate mousse going through it! Making lettuce wraps at home, fiddly but awesome!
My cooking tragedies
Some my bread experiences have certainly flopped. It's definitely hit or miss with me, but I love making bread from scratch without a bread machine!

Mango Blueberry Muffins With Coconut Streusel
These are amazing! I used 1/4 cup canola oil, and 1/4 cup of applesauce for the butter, and half whole wheat, half white flour. I kept everything else the same and made 12 muffins. Definitely yummy!

Scottish Oat Scones
Excellent! I used half whole wheat, and half all-purpose flour, subbed applesauce for half the butter, added 1/2 tsp orange extracts, and used blueberries instead of currants. With raspberry jam they're amazing!

Mom's Zucchini Bread
I made this today using 2 cups of zucchini and about 1 cup of mashed banana. I also substitued apple sauce for half the oil, and half whole wheat flour for half of the all purpose. I baked it in a bundt pan for about 1 hour 10 minutes, and it turned out amazingly good. I've made the original recipe as well, and that was equally as yummy!
