Ham and Potatoes Au Gratin

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2008
Very yummy. The sauce was really thick and good, but I did add a bit more cheese. I also added a topping of bread crumbs and parmesean. Thanks for a great recipe.

Zuppa Toscana

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2007
Very yummy flavor. We loved this soup, even my six yo daughter who never likes soup. I didn't have italian saugage so I subbed chicken sausage. I also didn't have cream so I subbed whole milk and sour cream as per previous poster. I also added celery and only used 2 slices of bacon. Very, very good and a definite repeat recipe!!! I can't wait to try it with the real ingredients.

Mom's Italian Beef Barley Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2007
Great recipe! I love the way it thickens up and the beef is so tender. I did add celery, carrots, onions, and garlic. Also added a bit of red wine. Very good and filling.

Crab Bisque

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2006
Very easy recipe. We added some cream cheese to make it creamier. It was a bit bland for me, but the kids loved it. My husband and I added a few shakes of tabasco sauce and some season salt, then it was great.

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2006
MMMM, this is great frosting! Really good on carrot cake. I didn't have enough cream chees, so I used a bit more butter and then added a touch of milk. I wish I had enough though, it would have been even better. Great stuff.

Carrot Cake I

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2006
I made this today for my husband's birthday, his favorite is carrot cake and I have never made it before. I also reduced the oil to 1 cup, added a tsp of pure vanilla, and I did not use raisins. I cooked it in 2 round pans for about 30-35 minutes. I used the cream cheese II recipe. It was simple delicious. He loved it and so did my kids who never eat the cake, but only the frosting. It was moist and flavorful. Oh la, la, Wonderful cake!
