Butternut Squash Supreme

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2008
This was my first experience with butternut squash and I am so glad I picked this recipe. The only changes I made were as follows: roasted the squash because peeling seemed too dangerous, used only 3/4 cup of cheese, used whole wheat crackers, and left off the butter on top. Still turned out great!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2008
So good! My variations are as follows: I forgot to add any liquid, so I just tossed all the initial ingredients around to coat chicken. Cooked for 8 hours on low then shredded chicken and added biscuits (rolled out a bit and cut into strips) and 2 cups defrosted mixed frozen veggies. Cooked for 2 hours on high. We repeat just like this!

Addictive Pumpkin Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2008
So tasty! Mine made 24 large muffins (they overflowed ... oops!) and 14 mini muffins. So glad I didn't halve the recipe!

Chicken Pecan Quiche

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2008
I added 2 extra eggs (Thanks Mel) and used mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Also used a bit more mustard and some salt and pepper. Turned out really well. Had to cook more like 60 or 65 minutes with the extra eggs. Tasty!

Zucchini Casserole I

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2008
I thought this was okay, but not nearly as good as some other zucchini casserole recipes I have tried. I didn't know how much salt to add so I didn't add enough and we had to season our servings individually - but even taking that into consideration I don't think I'll make this again.

Wasabi Secret Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2008
This recipe was great inspiration! I love wasabi peas and because of that this recipe encouraged me to eat some veggies! I used spinach, golden raisins, carrots, cucumbers, wasabi peas and a quick, homemade mustard vinaigrette. Thanks for the great idea!

Berry Cornmeal Muffins

These muffins presented a strange mix of salty and sweet, but they were quite good!

Hearty Wheat Yeast Rolls

Really good and simple recipe, but of course they did still taste like wheat!

Very good and EASY! I used an instant brown rice and it was even quicker! Wil definitely repeat!

Chili Cumin Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2005
I served this recipes with spanish rice and black beans. Overall it is a good recipe, but like everyone else I think it needs a little bit more flavor. Next time I'll add garlic. Mine was fine after 3 hours but I had very large chicken breast halves.

Slow Cooker Chicken Curry

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2005
This dish was very bland. I would not recommend it. We had to add other seasonings to our bowls after it was done like soy sauce.

Slow Cook Thai Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2005
I made this for an intimate dinner party and we all loved it! It did have a rather unattractive brown color, but that didn't stop us from devouring it. I am already craving it again!

Pink Pillows

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2005
I made these for an event with a pink theme. They were fairly good with the slight taste of strawberry from the Nesquik, but not my favorite cookie recipe. Will probably not make them again.

Fun Taco Cups

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2005
I suggest using only half of one biscuit per muffin cup - otherwise you end up with a muffin-shaped biscuit with meat on top.
