Cream of Tomato Soup
I felt it would be bland but had tomato juice and a lot of milk I wanted to use. I always like to make a recipe as printed, taste and make a decision if I need to adjust. this recipe as printed is so BLAND - I have added: 2 tsp chicken boullion, 1 tsp garlic salt, 1 tbsp dill, 1 tsp. parsley can of rotel and can of ranch beans and it still is not good! I am letting it all sit and will taste in a few hours to see if any flavors have had a chance to blend better. I will post later with end results.

Whole Grain Waffles
wow! I have always avoided waffles because the only way they ever taste good is with syrup and butter. I have concocted a blueberry/applesauce topping that I started topping waffles but still felt the waffles themselves weren't terribly nutritious. but now, wow, these are so good I don't even need to top them with anything - just eat right out of the waffle iron. I made up my blueberry/applesauce but ended up adding plain non fat greek yougurt and eating separately. I did use regular applesauce so there is extra sugar there and I didn't have wheat germ but wanted to use chia seeds anyway so just substituted the 1/4 cup. The blueberries were frozen and when I thawed in microwave it creates a little juice - hence the color.
