About this Cook
I'm a husband and father of 2 active boys, all of whom (thankfully) share my desire to try new things, including new foods. I love to see the faces of my boys and wife light up when I try something new and it turns out well!
My favorite things to cook
I especially love to grill -- meats, vegetables, and side dishes. I treat my grill like an outdoor oven. I also love to cook soups of all kinds.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I traditionally fix a big breakfast on the first day of school for the kids. I can't think of other cooking "traditions".
My cooking triumphs
Barbequed ribs, pork roast, chicken monterey, various soups.
My cooking tragedies
Shark steak (aka -- shoe leather) and "aromatic" rice (aka -- stinky styrofoam chunks). Thankfully, that particular meal was many years ago!!!!

Italian Pork Tenderloin
This dish is fantastic. It smells sooo good as it's cooking and did not disappoint. I did add garlic and additional Italian seasonings as suggested by other posters and it was just perfect. Thanks for the post.

Italian Sausage Soup II
This soup is very flavorful. I will try to save you some time and say that I agree with several other reviewers that the amount of pasta called for is excessive. I just cooked the pasta separately and put it in the bowl with the soup on top. The whole family loved it!

Asian Beef with Snow Peas
I loved this and so did my entire family. I added some bell pepper strips and water chestnuts. The sauce is fantastic and tastes very authentic. Thanks for the post.
