Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2006
Awesome recipe! Couldn't be easier. I used a 6 lb turkey breast and followed directions exactly and my turkey was overcooked so I made gravy with the juice and poured it over the turkey on the platter to put moisture back in. The gravy was perfectly seasoned with just the juice and thickened with a little cornstarch dissolved in water. My family absolutely loved it. Thank you so much for such a wonderful, easy, satisfying recipe.

Pasta Shrimp Toss

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2006
"This is really good" according to my husband. Delicious. I made more pasta because he doesn't like it too saucy. I'm going to try with chicken next time. A definite keeper.

Garlic-Lemon Double Stuffed Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2006
Good, but way too rich. I should have cut back on the cream cheese as suggested. My family did not comment on this dish, but they ate it so I guess that is good.

Chicken Florentine Casserole

I really liked this recipe. My husband, who never comments on any dish, made sure to say he liked it and wouldn't mind having it again. That's saying ALOT! My two teenage boys liked it as well. I served it over white rice because my family likes less saucy dishes. Thanks for the recipe.

Boiled Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2006
This was very tasty and moist. I used half of the chicken for enchilada's and the rest I used with the broth and veggies for chicken soup. Thanks for the recipe.

Chicken Enchiladas I

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2006
I really enjoyed this recipe, probably because it wasn't a traditional enchilada recipe, which I'm not at all fond of. This looked like enchilada's but didn't have the flavor of enchilada's. Next time, though, I will saute the onions first so that they are not crunchy (my kids wouldn't eat this because of the onions). I also took other's suggestions and stirred in 1/2 of the tomato sauce mixture and then used the rest for the cover instead of taco sauce (I didn't have any). I used Boiled Chicken (submitted by George)instead of the chicken breasts. If you're a traditional enchilada lover, you most likely will not enjoy this recipe. Read other's reviews.

Quick Shrimp Scampi Pasta

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2006
I read Noelle's changes of her recipe and followed that exactly and it was still not what we were looking for. I'm the only one that ate it out of my family of four. I even added pepper and alot of parmesan cheese and it still just OK. Sorry, Noelle.

Shrimp Scampi V

I served this to the in-laws last night for dinner. No one really commented on it, good or bad. I take that as an "it was OK". I thought it was good but have had better. I'm not sure what it was lacking. Definitely good though.

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2006
This turned out perfect. I'm always puzzled by other peoples comments on how theirs turned out runny or mushy. I can't see how if they followed the directions. I did lower the temp to 325 and added vanilla as suggested and my husband wanted to use Reeses chips so I subtituted one cup of choc chips with them. Delicious! Thank you.

Slow Cooker Sausage with Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2006
Delicious! Extremely easy. The sausages practically melted in my mouth. Nice and tender. I didn't have any bell peppers and I added a couple of fresh garlic cloves, toasted our rolls prior to filling and topped with fresh grated parmesan cheese. My whole family loved them.

Super Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms

Very good. I used the sage sausage which, I'm sure, added a nice flavor. I had extra stuffing and my friend thought that it would be good in eggs! Sounded good too.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2006
I followed this recipe completely and the cookies turned out HUGE! I only got 13 cookies out of the batch. They were 4" round though so they went a long way. The 1st tray did not cook through so I flattened down the next tray of cookies a little before cooking.
