Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: May 27, 2010
Okay, I agree with some people that this isn't really a recipe, BUT I have never cooked ribs before and this was not intimidating like other recipes I've seen and they turned out wonderful. The only thing I did differently was grilled them at the end to caramelize the sauce. I'll probably start to play with this like do a dry rub next time, but it was a great jumping off point. Thank you!

Sophie's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2005
This is the way I get my husband to do anything I want... I bribe him with Sophie's Zucchini Bread. I love this recipe. It is always pleasing. I have used it 4 times now and it never lets me down. The only thing I do is add a little nutmeg as suggested from other reviews I read.

Pumpkin Cookies I

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2005
This recipe is a good base to use your imagination. I like the flavor--not too strong--but the fun part is experimenting with add-ins. I saw others added raisins or choc. chips, so I decided to do white chocolate chips and peacans. What a yummy combonation. Have fun with this recipe and get creative!

Blue Cheese and Pear Tartlets

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2005
These were so easy yet elegant. I made them for a girls' night out party and they were the rave. I plan on having them on my girlfriend's bridal shower. Thanks for a fabulous and super simple recipe! Love it, Love it, Love it!

Pumpkin Pancakes

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2005
These were really delicious, simple, and elegant. I used cider vinegar, but next time I will cut it down to 1 tbs. I also had to add a little water to it because I thought it was too thick--but I like a thinner batter. I added 1 1/2 to 2 cups of chopped pecans to the batter which made my breakfast company go "nuts". Also, apple butter was a hit on top of these cakes. It will definitely make again and again and again.
