Cranberry Orange Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2011
this is a great bread - we ate it shortly after coming out of the oven, we just couldn't resist or wait for it to cool down. My go-to cranberry quick bread from now on!

White Chocolate Cheesecake with White Chocolate Brandy Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2009
I added double the white chocolate like other suggested. Make sure you use high quality white chocolate, it makes a huge difference when you're melting it. I couldn't stop licking the batter and everyone loved it. Combined it with a red velvet cake for red velvet white chocolate cheesecake layered.

Cinnamon-Roasted Almonds

This was very easy, and fabulous. Gave it away as gifts in jars, and everyone raved about it. I added double the cinnamon for more flavor. Extremely addicting too!

Tiramisu Layer Cake

Layers were impressive, everyone was wowed by the cake! Will definitely be making again! Make sure to moisten the cake all the way out to the edge so flavor really soaks through.

Autumn Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2007
Absolutely delicious! Everyone loved it, was a huge hit. Followed all the tips given on Dec. 29, 2005 by NOELC. I stuck the apples inside the cheesecake, so the top came out smooth and I drizzled top with caramel and chocolate. Officially in my Favorite cheesecake files. :)

Cornbread Muffins I

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2007
this one is a winner! butter really brings out the flavor. You might reconsider adding in corn--it came out as very chewy/slightly hard bits in the muffins, as if they dried out in the oven. The cornbread part is definitely a keeper!

Basic Corn Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2007
These muffins were a little on the bland side, and there wasn't much flavor to them--not bad, but I had to add a lot of butter and honey while eating it.

Yummy! A bit cake-like, similar to a denser muffin, but the flavor was great and everyone enjoyed them!

Louisiana Sweet Potato Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2007
Delicious! I added 2 Tbsp of sugar to the dry ingredients and it was just right to eat the pancakes alone, no syrup necessary! Great for freezing as well, for a quick breakfast just microwave them!

Eggnog Cheesecake III

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2007
Great cheesecake, but you can barely taste the eggnog, so in the end it tastes like a regular cheesecake with a hint of cinnamon. The friends I made this for love eggnog, so it was a little disappointing.

Chocolate Crinkles II

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2007
Gone shortly after baking was done. I also made another batch, this time adding 1 tsp mint extract in place of vanilla and they became Mint-Chocolate Crinkles, also a big hit!

Cranberry Scones

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2006
Delicious! Worked out great, the first batch was gone right out of the oven, so I had to make a second batch on the same day. Used dried cranberries and omitted the white sugar, and mixed 1 3/4 c white flour with 1/4 cup whole wheat flour for a healthier alternative.

Cool Whipped Frosting

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2006
This is my favorite frosting--good for all cakes. I recently used this to frost an ice-cream cake, and it was wonderful, and not so heavy with butter, everyone enjoyed this one much better than regular frosting and it's better for you too. And so easy!

Deep Dish Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2006
These brownies were thick, chewy, and delicious. Even came with that wonderful crust! Watch the baking time carefully, as the sides have an easier tendency to burn. This will officially become THE brownie recipie to replace all others!
