Asian Grilled Chicken

This is a great recipe. I added alot more sweet chilli sauce and omitted sugar so i could make a sauce to saute chicken breast in. I served with jasmine rice. Really great dinner.

Lemon Lush

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2014
My mom has been making this since I was little, but with a shortbread crust, butter flour, powdered sugar. So, that is how I made mine. I also use powered sugar in my cream cheese,1/2 cup and you can vary all types of fillings. This time I used pistachio pudding, my husband's favorite. Its a 5 star recipe if made like this!

Veal Marsala

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2014
Made this tonight for dinner and it was delicious. I used almost a pound of veal. I cooked the mushrooms with onions and garlic. Then once meat was brown I added the browned veg back and covered everything in the wine and reduced for a few minutes. Served with pasta and mixed steamed veggies. So yummy!!!

Tomato Bisque II

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2014
This is an amazing recipe! After reading a few reviews I created this to my liking and here's how I did it. I didn't want that large of a pot of soup so I used one 28oz can of crushed tomatoes, approximately 1/2 chicken broth, 1/2 or a little more butter and a drizzle evoo, large sprinkle basil, onion and garlic powder, salt and pepper. I let that cook down then added a very large pinch of sugar and a little over 1/2 of a large carton of half and half and then thickened with corn starch dissolved in water. It was so delicious! Thank you so much for this basic recipe to go by! This is a keeper!!!!!

Pumpkin Butter

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2014
This recipe is wonderful as a guide for pumpkin butter. The spices are right on; however the sugar does need cut back a little. I cut it back by a half cup and it was plenty sweet. It is also great made with brown sugar instead of white and i followed what a previous post had mentioned and added a little bit more liquid as it was rather thick to begin with and i wanted it to reduce down to become thick. Overall an awesome base recipe for fall. Amazing flavors!

ALthough this recipe is delicious, mine came out rather firm and hard. I think next time instead of cooking until 350 I may try 340-345, softball stage. Also I used two packages of koolaide in mine ans it was a great flAvor! I made lemonade.

Portuguese Burnt Sugar Candy

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2014
This was a great, simple recipe. I doubled it and replaced the vineger for a packet of watermelon koolaide dissolved in a tablespoon of water. It came out delicious. Shaping it is a little tricky as it flattens out some but I'm going to try pouring it into molds next time.

These are amazing biscuits! I also used very cold butter instead of shortening and I added a little extra butter, approximately another 1/4 of a stick. They always turn out perfectly and I've even made they dough in food processor following all the steps and they turn out just as great!
