Veal Angelica

This was really good!. I made a few changes...I only had thin veal strips so I seasoned and breaded them and browned them seperately. I lined the bottom of a baking dish with the strips then did the layers of chz, prochuto, & asp. w/ more strips on top. I didn't have roasted red peppers so I used a reg. red pepper and it was great. I reduced the sauce a lot and then drizzled it over the meat and baked for 1/2 hour. My husband couldn't get enough!!!

Pork Tenderloin with Gravy

The flavor that the combo of ingredients makes for the sauce is so great!! Changes I made where no garlic (I don't like it) and chicken broth instead of water. I sauteed veggies first and I floured my pork to brown it first which made the sauce a bit too thick so I just added more chicken broth to get to the right consistency. My husband hates pork but he'll eat this...a keeper! thanks!

Shredded Pork Sandwiches

I really liked this. I used a pork butt roast and put it in the crock pot on high for 6h w/ a cup of water. Then in the morning drained almost all of the fat and water out added the sauce and left it on high for another 4h. I didn't add water to the sauce and I used 1/2 the ketchup and used barbeque sauce for the rest of the ketchup amount. will make it again!

Curried Honey Mustard Chicken

OMG so good! The only thing is 1/2 the butter. I marinated the chicken first and love it w/ the skin on..nice and crispy! I'm trying this on ribs tonight! thanks for a keeper!

Three Bean Salad I

I thought this was great! I kept the wet items the same but I made substitutions for what I had around the house. I used red and yellow pepper and fresh greed onion and chive from the garden..I also added black olives...yummm!!!

Danish Pastry Apple Bars II

Love them! I didn't have walnuts so I used chopped pecans and I also added about 1/2 cup chocolate chips to make it more like a dessert. I also did 1 1/2 cup apples (I needed to get rid of them). Great recipe I'll make it again! Thanks

Cream of Asparagus Soup I

Carrot Soup 'a la Louise'

This was good and I would probably make it again. I shredded the carrots in a food processor first and once cooked smashed them with a potato smasher to break up the carrot pieces more. I used 1/2 and 1/2 and also 1/2 veg broth and 1/2 chicken broth. I think next time I'll add some chx to it! Yumm

Cheeseburger Soup I

This came out great! Only 4 stars b/c I changed a few things. I didn't use carrots or celery...I used mushrooms and onions...pureed them. I used 1/2 beef broth. I pre boiled the potatoes and mashed them. I used Bacon Cheddar cheese (OMG this made it amazing) along w/ reg. shredded cheddar cheese. Used fresh herbs and salt and pepper. I did the milk and flour mixture on the side first..I did't need to add all of it to get the right thickness and I didn't use any sour cream. Came out amazing!!!!
