Loved it! For me, this is the perfect margarita recipe. I used Grand Marnier instead of Triple Sec. I find Triple Sec to be pretty crappy and far too sweet. I'd just rather not have it in my cocktails. It is really delicious in a big margarita glass lined with salt. This will be my go to margarita recipe now. Thanks for sharing!

Feta Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2008
This is an excellent, very easy recipe. I used plain feta and sun dried tomatoes out of the jar. I used far more than the recipe called for. I don't think the recipe uses nearly enough. Then again, I really like feta. I also secured the rolled chicken breasts with toothpicks. They cooked perfectly in the allotted time and looked really pretty. This is a great meal to serve to guests. It can be made ahead and popped in the oven right before dinner. Will definitely make again.

Black Beans and Rice

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2007
I really enjoyed this recipe. It's easy and can be made relatively quickly. I substituted chicken broth for the veggie broth. I added some kielbasa and lots of cayenne pepper. Turned out tasty!

Coconut Cream Pound Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2006
I disagree with the other reviewers who stated this cake was dry. I found this cake to be deliciously moist. I made it for my mom several months ago who is a coconut fanatic. She absolutely loved as did I. I thought it was a fantastic recipe. It's the only coconut cake recipe I use.

Blueberry Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2006
This is my go to coffee cake for guests, especially my dear mom. I've been making this for the last five years time and time and time again. Every single time I even consider making something else, I go back to this recipe. It's incredibly moist, flavorful and just plain lovely. In my opinion, it's far better as a dessert cake rather than a morning cake. It's just very, very rich for the morning. I do decrease the sugar a bit and never dust it with confectioners sugar. Other than those two tiny changes, it's amazing. Lastly, I should say that I am SUPER picky about baked goods. I am nearly always disappointed when I purchase baked goods in bakeries, even at the top bakeries in Chicago. But this cake has no flaws. At all. Make it and get fat. :-)

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2006
Delicious! I made this for a party last night and everyone loved it. It tastes like delicious Buffalo wings without the mess. I used much more hot sauce than required, because I like my food hot. I boiled a few boneless, skinless breasts instead of canned chicken. I also mixed in blue cheese crumbles and put a few crumbles on top. I served with celery and the large sized Wheat Thins. Yummy, yummy, yummy!

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2005
Being from the South, sour cream is a staple in the kitchen. I never thought of using it in banana bread. It's amazing. It truly is. I bake quite frequently, and am *very* picky about recipes. This recipe, while supremely simple, is the *only* recipe I've used for banana bread for several years. It's delicious. The cinnamon sugar dusting on top is great if you want to make the bread tasted more like a dessert. Really, try it. You won't use any other recipe. It's fabulous.
