Quinoa Pilaf

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2012
Except for adding fresh garlic at the start and rinsing the quinoa, I made the pilaf exactly as written. It was delicious, and my quinoa-hating husband loved it. I think you could add any vegetables that you like. Thank you for the recipe.

Three Bean Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2005
I replaced the kidney beans with chick peas, reduced the vinegar to 1/2 cup and the oil to 1/4 cup, eliminated the sugar altogether, and increased the celery seed. Delicious! Thanks for providing the base recipe.

Raspberry Summer Pudding (English Style)

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2005
I had this dessert recently in England and it was delicious so thanks Clinton for posting it. Because I'm on Weight Watchers, I changed the recipe by using 6 cups of mixed berries, and 1/2 cup Splenda in place of the sugar. It also took 7 slices of bread. I used a slotted spoon to remove the berries from the pot into the bowl and then saved the reserved juice to pour over top of the pudding before adding a tablespoon of fresh whipped cream.

Stuffed Green Peppers I

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2011
These are delicious and easy to make. I've made them several times, and I just omit the cheese from the mix and instead sprinkle parmesean on top. Thank you for the recipe.

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread II

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2012
I made this today and my 87 year old mother, the best baker I know, told me that it was the best banana bread she ever tasted. Thanks for the recipe.

Chocolate Trifle

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2014
Easy to make, attractive and tasty. I used leftover chocolate cake rather than making brownies, which made it even easier. Thank you for the recipe.

White Chocolate Mousse Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2006
Although my guests said this pie was delicious, I found it sickly sweet. The taste of the sweetened condensed milk was overwhelming. I don't know if adding more white chocolate would have helped. There was enough filling for two pie shells. I decorated it with raspberries and blueberries, which added a nice taste.
