Seven Layer Salad

Next time will use more sugar in the mayo or just use Miracle Whip; dressing needed sweeting up. Perhaps some cider vinegar too, rjb, Jan-2015....after reading many reviews the dressing should be 1 cup mayo and 1 cup sour cream and parmesan and sugar to taste. RjB

Guacamole

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2014
This was so good. Disappointed because I had never tried to make guac until now and I've been eating pre-made; I really missed out, now I will never buy store bought again!

White Bean Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2014
*****Very good and simple to throw together. Didn't use ground coriander, I didn't have it but the oregano gave it great flavor by itself. Used jarred salsa verde instead of tomitillas and used diced tomatoes w green chilies instead of plain diced tomatoes. Just enough spice to warm you up.

Bean Soup With Kale

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2014
Super flavor and easy soup and just gets better overnight. I subbed canned diced tomatoes for the roma (out of season), skipped adding salt since I didn't drain and rinse the beans and skipped blending because I like a brothy soup and why dirty a blender. Had it again for breakfast, definitely a keeper.

Homemade Horseradish

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2008
My husband likes a coarser texture for his horseradish. We simply grated the root on the small hole side of a cowbell then mixed all in bowl. No blending or processing needed. Also, we did NOT add any sugar. Very very good!
