About this Cook
I am 25 years old and I'm married and have a 5 year old daughter. I love to cook and I am always looking for new recipes! I am a homemaker and I homeschool my daughter.
My favorite things to cook
Anything! I love to cook anything! I guess my most favorite thing to cook is Chicken Rice Soup, Beef Chili, and Spaghetti and Meatballs!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Anything that my daughter and I make together always tastes extra good! We make cookies, cakes, and she helps me with meals a lot too!
My cooking triumphs
I can pretty much take any ingredients that I have laying around in my fridge and pantry and make something out of it. It's fun to be creative like that!
My cooking tragedies
Oh dear, I remember about 3 or 4 years ago when I first tried to make mashed potatoes and I poured a little too much milk in. Way too looked like potato soup! It still tasted alright, but it was pretty bad. :)

Caramel Filled Chocolate Cookies
Delicious! I always make these during Christmas Time as one of the many different cookies I bake as gifts and these are ALWAYS the favorite of everyone. Excellent recipe!!

Eggnog Thumbprints
Delicious! Instead of the icing drizzle recipe offered, I mixed egg nogg with powdered sugar and drizzled over the cookies. Delicious!

Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
I'm an avid baker, and I love both peanut butter and chocolate chips -- so I thought this recipe, with its high ratings, would be absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately, I found them to be very middle of the road. I got about three dozen out of them, and they were fine, but nothing to really write home about. I do have to complement their fluffy texture, however. But baking them at 375 for 12 - 14 minutes is asking for a burned cookie!
