Best Ever Split Pea

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2005
Robin! We are sitting enjoying a bowl at this moment...we just had to write and say THANK YOU for the fantastic recipe. All we can say is that we're shocked that a simple soup such as split pea can be this good. We made it vegan by using artificial chicken broth powder (mixed with water) and since we lacked carrots and non-salt seasoning we did without and it still proved amazing! Blending about half the mixture gave it a perfect consistency. Thanks again!

Cheesy Vegetable Chowder

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2005
This soup lasted for days (and we halved it) ....and it was indeed better after it was reheated. The recipe was a bit too thick, however, and the consistency was more mashed-potato-like than soup-like. Next time I think we'll leave out the flour and add less cheese. All of the delicious veggies were wonderful, though!

The Best Double Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2005
Yum! My roomates thought they were fabulous! I tried using butter (it proved to be overwhelming so next time I will indeed use margarine. Also, I used a mix of milk chocolate chunks and semi sweet chips and found the results to be great. My roomates and I thank you for sharing!
