About this Cook
My name is Kellie! I am more of a pastry chef, I guess because making delicious treats are easier for me to make and always have been. While cooking has taken me more practice, I am getting better. I am a vegetarian and I have been one for 3 years. I love cooking with tons of vegetables (more color, the happier this girl is!) Although I am a vegetarian, I still love cooking dishes for my family who like eating meat. I like to go running every other day, and on the days I'm not running I'm going on a hike with family or a bike ride. I love being outdoors although my allergies keep me cooped up in the house like a hen! I turn to writing on days like those, I'm good with kids (I baby sit a lot, but I do not have any of my own kids yet! :) I'm only 18! SO I'm finishing up High School then I plan on attending college in Culinary to become a Chef! I also like to write and I'm a music/movie lover and a big food junky.
My favorite things to cook
-Taco salad (Nacho Cheese Dorito's, Bell pepper's, onion's, jalapeno' pepper, shredded lettuce, diced tomato, taco cheese), spaghetti with garlic bread and a side salad, cinnamon apple pancakes w/ peanut butter and a banana garnish, chocolate chip cookies, cupcakes, and etc.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I don't really have a family cooking tradition, we kind of just go with what our stomach's are craving that day and we make it!
My cooking tragedies
Making fudge, I got an easy recipe offline and the recipe called for way too much sugar. So I made some changes and the sugar looked as if it detached itself from the peanut butter. After being traumatized because of what it looked like I am trying to stay away from fudge for as long as I possibly can until the image is completely out of my head.

Baked Spaghetti
This looks so good, even the title makes my mouth water. I just wish is was vegan friendly. I will have to make this for my family though, it's different and we're always open to trying to new things! :) I'll give it a higher rating after I make it!
