Just me.
About this Cook
Living in the bay area with my fiance, and two year old daughter.
My favorite things to cook
Anything sweet. I was born with a inherited sweet tooth, and grew up watching my mother and grandmother bake. Pies, cakes, cookies, and candy are my absolute favorite things to bake. As far as cooking....it runs the gamut. I like to try lots of different things.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Watching my grandma bake chocolate chip cookies. My sister and I used to sneak dough and fight over who got to lick the beaters.
My cooking triumphs
Anytime a recipe I create turns out to be a success.
My cooking tragedies
I once tried to bake a single crust apple pie. The filling essentially became apples and sweet water. Not good.

Egg Free Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cookies
These cookies turned out a little bland for me. I should have used the butter flavored Crisco. I added the half brown sugar and half white sugar. I also added some cut up caramels to the batter. That gave it a bit more sweetness. I'd make these again, but with butter flavored Crisco.

Chicken Pot Pie IV
Great flavor and very easy to make! I should have cooked mine for a bit longer, the crust was a little underdone.

Love the Mama Lemon Bars
I added a bit more lemon and lemon zest. I like them really tart. Overall, a great recipe. Thanks!
