Healthier Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2013
Loved the recipe! HOwever, I guessed on 10 cups of apples.... How many apples is that? I also think that with a good mix of apples, you can still cut back on the sugar. I also only used 1/4 cup of butter, and it still came out great!

Homemade Wonton Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2013
I really liked this. I always wanted to make my own because the soup from the stores are VERY salty. However, I did make one change. Instead of JUST chicken broth, I added about 2 tablespoons of MISO paste. Gave it a really good flavor.

Crispy Gingersnaps

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2014
I substituted Butter for the Shortening. HEre is a very good article http://www.melindalee.com/resources/reference-center/cookie-tips/ on how to get a crispy cookie. Basically shortening will make a softer, puffier cookie and butter will make a crispier one. It was great with the butter.

Italian Wedding Soup I

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2012
Basically , I like the recipe, but I did change a few things. First, I cooked 1 chopped onion and 2 cloves garlic in a little oil then added the broth and escarole. Also, I added salt and pepper to the meatballs and fried them in a couple teaspoons of oil first to get them browned. They taste alot better when you do that. Then I added them to the soup. Also, I agree that the Orzo's need to be cut in 1/2.
