I am a married mother of two boys and three girls...how perfect is that? I love everything family and am an active member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints which takes up lots of my time as well. I like simple, satisfying dishes but I enjoy lots of experimenting...too much sometimes according to my husband! My mom always made everything by hand and I like to attempt to follow in her footsteps. Everything from breads to chocolates, I try it all! Uh, yeah right! I think "triumphs" may be too strong a word but I make pretty good bread and I've been known to have a few good recipes up my proverbial sleeve. LOTS! 1000 characters aren't nearly enough to name all my mistakes but that's the thing about cooking...there's always going to be hungry bellies to feed tomorrow so if at first you don't succeed, try, try again.
