About this Cook
I'm too lazy to cook most of the time. But when I do, I get a kick out of it.
My favorite things to cook
STEAK SALMON Whatever I caught for the day (or whatever my dad caught) ...and everything else. :)
My favorite family cooking traditions
Homemade dumplings and zongzi (sticky rice dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves). My family can easily spend a whole day making everything from scratch.
My cooking triumphs
A co-worker gave me one of the fish he caught for the day. I wasn't exactly sure how to cook it. As I was starving, I hastily prepped the fish with random ingredients from the pantry (literally) and threw it in the oven. And it tasted great! Too bad I can't recreate the recipe now because I had no idea how much of what I used.
My cooking tragedies
I accidentally poured a mountain of salt while stir frying green bell peppers with pork and garlic when I was 8. And I totally thought it was okay and my grandma ate a bite of it and was like "FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF WHAT DLGJDSKLFJDSL HOW MUCH SALT DID LDKJFLDSKFJDLSK YOU KLDJFKLDJF PUT KHADKLF IN LJDFKLJFS HERE"

Best Steak Marinade in Existence
Great marinade, the flavor doesn't overpower the meat. Very easy to make with common ingredients. My only regret is that I didn't marinate it long enough (only about 5 hours); next time I'm leaving it in the fridge overnight! Also, I didn't use a blender because I was lazy and it tasted just fine.
