Dijon Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2012
This had good flavor.I didn't see where you were supposed to use the 1/2 cup butter so except for browning the chicken, I omitted it.I partially cooked the chicken and then added the chicken broth.Cooked for a few more minutes, then added the mustard mixture and cooked for a few more minutes.Pretty easy.

All White Meat Meatloaf

Great flavor! Used Ritz instead of saltines, omitted the liquid smoke and used a loaf pan. The combination of sausage and bbq sauce was really tasty. It was not mushy at all.

I halved the pepper and thyme, doubled the paprika. This is one of best chicken dishes I made lately.I had a quarter leg and 2 boneless breasts.Started the bone in 1/2 before the breastsThese came out tender and juciy.Next time i will half the oregano. This one's a keeper.

Overnight Pork Roast With Cabbage

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2010
I've made this three times, the first time with cabbage, the last 2 times with sauerkraut. Definitely better with the sauerkraut. I used chicken broth instead of beer. Do crush the caraway seeds.I didn't think it would make a difference, but it was a more mellow flavor when crushed.Tried it once in the crock pot, not very good.

Well, I'm in the minority here.I did not care for this at all. I just thought it was like pre- packaged mushy potatoes.I followed the recipe exactly.

Cream of Cauliflower and Stilton Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2007
This was very good. I made several ,only because I did'nt have the items on hand.Used shallots, omitted the leeks.Used 1 cup of half and half. Also used four slices of smoked Fontina cheese, which really added to the flavor. I also just mashed the cauliflower and potato right in the pot,so much easier,I like my soup with a little texture.

Absolutely Ultimate Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2005
This soup is awesome! I've made it twice. Both times using 1/2 & 1/2.Used russets the first time, just mashed the potatoes right in the pot and did'nt have to thicken at all.It was a little mealy with the russets but I loved it just the same.Tonight I tried it with red potatoes.Though it was very good,I did have to thicken it.Screwed up the flour mix so just added some instant potatoes to thicken.I thought I would prefer a creamier soup but I preferred the texture of the russets and it's less work. Also,I dont bother making broth, just add the water and throw Knorr cubes in the pot.(Don't like the regular boullion cubes, they just seem like salt water).
