Parmesan Tomatoes

These are FABULOUS! I love the mix of baked tomatoes and the mustards and cheese. Exactly what I was looking for to go with the "Tasty Chicken Bake"!

Sun Dried Tomato and Asiago Cheese Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2005
This was sooo good. I just got the Breadman Ultra and this is the first loaf that turned out right!! I also live at 7000 ft, but didn't have to adjust anything for altitude. I used all bread flour. Next time, I'll probably try it with more cheese and I will select "Light" for the crust. I'll also try to sprinkle more cheese on top before the bake cycle begins.

This was great! Tasted like something you'd find in a nice southwestern resturant.

Chili And Cheese Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2005
This was really good! I used breadcrumbs rather than corn flakes - but didn't turn out so great. I'll try the corn flakes or saltines next time. My beau thought it sounded weird with the rice - but really enjoyed it. I only made 2 breasts, but the same amount of the rice mixture - stuffed the breasts heavily and we ate the rest as a "side dish".

Tasty Bake Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2005
This was really good. I used low fat italian dressing rather than the olive oil. I also marinated it for about an hour and I thought the chicken was very flavorful.

Jambalaya

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2005
This was sooo good. don't be afraid to experiment - I didn't have all of the ingredients on hand, so I used olive oil rather than peanut, onion flakes and jarred garlic rather than real; I also left out the andouille, celery, pepper, worcestershire and file. I ended up adding italian seasoning and more red peppers and cajun seasoning to kick up the flavor.

Belle and Chron's Spinach and Mushroom Quiche

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2008
so good! I didn't have bacon, but left over ham - used half and half rather than light cream and added more cheese to the top! It was fabulous. It's been a long time since I've made a good quiche.

Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2005
Pretty good base for a super dish! I doubled the cheese and salsa, and added onions, black olives and garlic. Next time, I'll use the whole pack of taco seasoning and probably get the mexican/spicy corn and beans.

Japanese Chicken Wings

Fabulous! Everyone loves this dish. I don't use chicken wings, just cut up chicken breasts, served over rice.

Sour Cream Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2005
I have a slow cooker that tends to cook fast or I bought chops that were too thin. I only needed 5-6 hours for cooking on low. They were so tender at that point. Then I just put it on warm for the remaining time, and the chops dried out - my own fault for not just turning the cooker off and warming in the stove before dinner.

This was really good. I followed the suggestion to use soy rather than browning sauce.
